Grrl Power #714 – Such navigation. So wow.
Sydney’s about to find out if she’s smorgtose intolerant. Even if she is, she might not know why she starts having ear farts.
Looks like Sydney is about to get some honest to god instruction on using the orbs. Or at least that one function of the one orb anyway. Also, apparently being stabbed in the ear is suppressing her blush response at the moment. Normally being sandwiched in between two smexy alien boys would make her go fuchsia. But she also might be getting used to being around them, which inoculates her against her own responses somewhat.
Page is still coming along. Still need to fix up the navigation and tag all 700+ comics with the list of characters appearing in them, then figure out how to use the new cast page stuff. Well, it’ll get done eventually.
Double res version will be posted over at Patreon. $1 and up, but feel free to contribute as much as you like.
I don’t know if Dave will see this but – Can we get a blown up version of the last frame in without all the overlay :D I think it’d make a funny wallpaper!
YES! It might show up on his Deviant Arts page (speaking of… where did the links go? o_O)
Oh, there it is: way at the bottom of the column on the right, just text links so not easy to spot
Yeah, still working on getting the page back to where it was.
Seconded!
Opening an Aetherium causeway inside a ship already moving faster than light couldn’t _possibly_ cause any problems!
She opened up the address window, not the portal its self.
It looks like she has the option between entering an address manually (the screen shown), and picking from a memory/favorites bar. Much like an internet search, enter the address manually or check or history or faves and auto-connect.
A theory about the unknown orb I haven’t seen put out yet.
What if its the, kill memory log. If we postulate that the orbs are like game mechanics as well as star ship parts; there is a feature not unlike a Pokedex that shows up in some games where after you successfully defeat something a battle record is recorded for the player to view data on the opponent. So maybe why it never worked before could be because she had never beaten anyone before; but now a log could come up of such opponents.
spaceship logic wise (captain’s log)
Makes sense
And the number of pips would indicate how detailed the information is
I played a game once that had a level up version of this, that started off that you had to defeat an opponent to get any data at all, but the leveled up versions became a more active scan ability including not just picture and types but also drops, and combat stats.
Believe played a similar game…
Based on that I shall throw my theory, orange orb is orb that allows to upgrade others, its talent orb. so she has actually been using it often but because it needs all orbs to display talent map everyone thinks it does nothing
Plenty of hypotheses about that orb. No theories have been proven yet.
It’s really more of a “temple horn” than a “cheek horn”, wouldn’t you say?
Pointy horn is still going in ear, we can give Sydney a pass on the location of where it’s coming from.

In the last panel, Sydney looks like she had a stroke. One dialated and one normal eye.
I notice the who’s who doesn’t have the Cora Crew…
I’m wondering now. Aetherium Causeway opened while in Warp. I really want to know what happens.
*Runs off*
“Sydney, wanna try a cool sci fi experiment?”
Fun fact: Altus is in fact a city in Oklahoma.
this whole lost in space arc is giving me Trials In Tainted Space vibes XD
Imagine your butthole is already gradually turning into gently drifting, glowing plasma flakes from eating way too much space chili, and then you get the mega farts from some extraterrestrial milk. . .
Well, speaking from experience, as long as you’re not bleeding it’s probably fine.
