Grrl Power #571 – Transmogrification
I’m kind of sad that Sciona’s achieved her goal here, or at least one of them. I was getting used to drawing her with the orc body. It’s a pain in the butt to draw with the stitches and the scar all the extra details that take time to select and color and all that, but without them she loses a certain visual distinctiveness.
Everyone has something about themselves they’d like to fix. Most of use could stand to lose a few pounds, unless your job requires you to be professionally in shape, like an actor, model, fireman, soldier, what have you. Maybe a personal trainer, but I’ve seen personal trainers who could definitely stand to practice what they preach a bit more. Having an out of shape personal trainer is a bit like getting a haircut from a hairdresser with an awful haircut. But I digress.
Personally, I wouldn’t mind fixing my thumbs. My whole life I thought they were double jointed because I could bend them backwards so far I could touch the side of my arm, but I can’t lay them flat across my palm, so I guess they’re single jointed and just on backwards. It’s a minor complaint and has never affected my ability to do anything like use a pencil or chopsticks. I actually never realized people could lay their thumbs across their palms until I was like… I don’t even know, like 38 or something? It doesn’t come up often. The only time it messes me up is when I need a reference for a hand doing something my hand can’t do.
I also broke my ankle once and it’s a little weaker than the other one now, and I messed up one of my shoulders good over the course of about 5 years in the gym. I suppose while I’m at it I could stand to sharpen up my vision, but I’ve been wearing glasses since high school so for the first few months after doing it I’d go to adjust my glasses unconsciously and wind up poking myself in the eyes a thousand times.
Double res version will be posted over at Patreon. $1 and up, but feel free to contribute as much as you like.
It I could change a few things, first on my list would be to stop getting migraines. Then I’d change my feet. They are flat and foot pain sucks. Then I’d fix my eyes so I don’t have to wear glasses. In that order. Because being in pain sucks.
I suppose some sort of magical entity doesn’t have those sorts of problems.
Sometimes they have worse. Cthillia has the desire to kill 99 people, to recharge the Epimorph (or at least we did not see her enquiring “will bunnies do?”).
Plus it does not look like Sciona upgraded her human-like body (in panel 6) to match the extra weight she gave herself in the final two panels. So she will likely have back pain. Whilst you may take pain killers for yours, Sciona will have to use the same (or magic) for hers. Magic can create as many problems (if not more) as it can solve.
The magical boob job was her choice, so I don’t feel any sympathy if she gets back pain. None at all.
Migraines don’t generally respond well to medication. The stuff out there can have interesting side effects. Better to just not get them.
Would boobs of that modest size even cause pain to an ordinary human being? And she obviously isn’t an ordinary human being. I expect her back is more than up to the task.
I had surgery done to my feet to reduce the cramping and pain from them being flat, the last foot was last june and the first one just one year before. It’s still early to share definite opinions but I don’t know if I would do it again if I had this knowledge then. The pain is really great. Use that magic artifact if you can, not surgery.
Ouch. Hope it heals up soon and the pain was worth it (no more undeserved pain for the rest of your life).
I’ve had inserts that helped quite a lot once they did some reshaping (and that wasn’t comfortable). Enough that I don’t get as much pain and it takes a lot longer. I think I’ll just tough it out from here on out.
here’s a blood pressure medication that stopped my Cluster Migraines cold. Brand name Norvasc, generic name Amlodipine. Ever since it happened I have been joking that developing high blood pressure at age 40 was the best thing that ever happened to me. And when my blood pressure got reset in the wake of my bleeding out, I had to talk my doctor into re-prescribing it even though they were worried my pressure was now too low. I can’t be the only person it might help.

Whole-er…
sigh… when woman only care about their appearance.
Hey even a guy who had her ‘before’ look would want to change their appearance.
Of COURSE you would wantto be getting a haircut from a hairdresser with an awful haircut. That one is the one doing all the nice work on the OTHER hairdressers!
Given the choice between getting a haircut from a barber with a horrible haircut and a barber with a great one, if there are only two barbers in town, I’ll take the guy with the horrible haircut, since almost no one cuts their own hair…
The glasses thing in the description happens to me every time I wear contacts.
I wouldn’t mind being skinnier, and shorter, and not having a crap foot, shoulder, rib and back after several injuries, and not being nearsighted, and not having any hair below the ears, and there’s this weird little dysfunction where the cuticle on my right little finger nail grows over the nail oh and my boobs and genitals are all wrong. Trans people like this game. :3
Given society greatly favours height… I’m guessing you’d want to be shorter for the sake of practical concerns… like cheaper clothing or crawling into small spaces or something. Or else you’re abnormally tall? Can’t imagine any other reason anyone would want to be shorter.
I don’t particularly want to be taller, but it would be nice to NOT be subject to heightism just because I’m not tall…
I’m over average height for a guy, but I haven’t thought about what society prefers. It’d just be nice to need less
clothes and food, and fit in my bathtub. And lose less body heat to cold. And fit in even the most cramped bus seats. There’s a lot of advantages compared to reaching the tall shelves without a chair.

All I’d want is what Sciona was there for; a total body renewal, regenerate everything from active disabilities to acne scars. As an afterthought I would want total depilation of body and facial hair, but knowing me by then the effects would have expired.
She is just asking for that back pain, though.
*Cries in trans and wishes I could do something like that*
