She didn’t get the bends rising so fast?
She wasn’t super deep when she found them. She didn’t shoot up out of the water either I suppose.
The Bends? While that shallow? Nitrogen narcosis (the technical name for the bends) only happens if you dive for an extended period at depths more than 10 m. She was way too shallow for that effect.

Looks like she just slowly rose out of the water (is it a good thing she found the blue flight orb first?), and loving how the other orbs are now being auto-gathered around her (guessing they can only be seperated/scattered when the holder dies? similar to the Dragons Balls after the wish has been granted)

I don’t mean to be a pain but is Sydney’s eye color blue? Or brown? Seems they are blue in the incentive and brown in the comic…or I’m just crazy…could be the crazy ;D

They’re brown. I don’t know how I managed to screw that up, but I’ve fixed the wallpaper sized one on DA.
*hangs head in shame* I am not a very observant person, but I really should have spotted that one! On the plus side, I now have the rare, collectable, original for occasional use in the wallpaper rotation.
Not that I had thought about it before, but brown does suit Sydney better. Subtle, even comparing them side by side, but it does make a difference.
When checking it out on Deviant Art, I also noticed the Spanish language cos-play poker fan art. That had me rolling about laughing!
I hoped I wasn’t being a pain when I pointed it out. :x I guess maybe I’m always so hooked into detail as an artist that I just noticed…unfortunately it also stops me from doing any comics of my own cause I nitpick the heck out of my own art. :( hmmm

A good artist doesn’t mind when errors are brought to their attention, great artists encourage it as they know they can’t catch every error (image or word wise) that sneaks through
No worries, it’s become a bit of a game to “spot the error” in the comic. There’s usually one or two. I wish I had more time to spend on the art, but as they say, there’s perfect, and then there’s done.
And most times they are just little things (like Syd’s magical eye-colour change) that are easily missed but just as easily fixed
