November Vote Incentive – Grrl Power Halloween
The previous one still isn’t quite finished, but it’s time to refresh the thing. I’ll post when it’s finished over at the DA page. Time for something semi-topical. I’ve had the Mexima gag in my head for a while. The rest of the page just happened as I drew it. The hardest two were Anvil and Harem. Anvil voices the issue on the page, but for Harem, I couldn’t think of 5 of something for her to dress as. It’s always three: Stooges, musketeers, anthropomorphic duck nephews, hot sisters that Gaston probably should have married instead of going after Belle, etc. Actually it probably makes sense that she’d be attending 5 separate parties simultaneously anyway.

I had trouble figuring out what she was supposed to be until I spotted the Lightning Bolt CutieMark. Then the hair and wings made sense. Like it even in sketch form. I feel sorry for Anvil though.

Anvil should broaden her horizons and not let her skin color dictate her choices. She’d look fetching as a black Wonder Woman. Heck she’d look fetching as a black, female Thor (though Storm did that in a What-If comic IIRC)

So is this going to be in colour at some point or will it just stay a line drawing? Kind of appropriate for Peggy to be dressed as a pirate. Or is that what Dabbler is referring to as redundant?
At first glance from just that thumbnail I thought she might be going a Savage Dragon, then I voted and saw the whole thing.
But Savage Dragon does not have a breath weapon, unlike Sydney.

My wild imagination strikes again! For next year’s Hallowe’en, Anvil grabs a bunch of gold body paint and dresses as Max. She has all the appropriate proportions, if you scale her down a bit.
What would Max be then?…I got it! Have Max dress up like SYDNEY!

As for something that could be the 5 Harems, a few anime inspired ideas pop into mind. Such as Cutey Honey and her various disguises, or the Sailor Scouts. Maybe next year.
Just a thought but has anyone thought of a Power Rangers parody except with the orbs, I know there’s far more of them but over the years there have many varying power ranger teams but imagine the costume changing…
I wonder if even one of the orbs has the ability to create illusions imagine the possibilities if they’re overlaying others even to cause a foe to attack one of their comrades instead?

Is it really bad of me to be REALLY looking forward to the next release just hoping they have the same reaction as that guy from the restaurant that Sydney ate at who was left scared at what she was capable of eating?!
