Webcomic Forums
Edit: I went with the 910CMX forum. I was just asking around in case they weren’t adding new comics. Thanks for the suggestions.
So I’ve been getting a ton of comments on each page for a while now, after a day or two it gets a little hard to scroll through them all and track a conversation. It’s a nice problem to have but it might be time to look into adding a forum. I’ll keep the comments of course, but I’d like to minimize the number of additional usernames and passwords people have to deal with and try and get into an existing webcomic forum (assuming they’re even accepting new comics.) I know of the 910CMX forums, but that’s it off the top of my head. Any other good ones I should check out?
Talk About Comics forum seems to be gone. Eyeskream is still around.
Well, it’s not a major site, but Halforums is always willing to add a new sub-forum for a webcomic. We’ve got a small but very active community and your comic would fit in perfectly.
Just contact the admin, Dave, and tell him that figmentPez sent you.
Huh, I kinda forgot how much Halforums has grown. I checked the numbers. It’s got more users and guests online right now than either 910CMX or Eyeskream.
I’m not certain that I would utilize a forum much. I’m subscribed to two that I’m moderately active in and neither of them relate to the web comics I read (one is about Pokemon and the other is on Tarot). I thoroughly enjoy the comments sections of most web comics though and will post my thoughts when I feel the need to quack a bit. So, I think your idea of having a forum for lengthier discussions, while keeping the comments on the comics is a good solution.
Okay … well, I decided to jump on the forum anyway. Hmph … go figure. I’m just waiting for the review of my initial set up so I can be approved to post I guess. Geeze! Then you’ll have to put up with my inane chatter in TWO places! Hah!
But I do still have to congratulate you on the amount of commenting your comic is generating! Pure awesomeness!
I am surprised and pleased myself. :)
DaveB,
It’s all about the proportions… the punk Harem should’ve been a lot shorter, that’s what’s making the room look small… and of course the bigger foreground characters and close by ceiling plates.
Guess all in all you either needed a bigger panel or a split panel where you can show her entry lines and below her appearance…
What exactly was Maxima, in her Minima capacity, put down the pants of Harem’s clone? Sorta looks like a pen. Must have been a cold one going down in that other cleavage we don’t normally see from the ladies, even at the beach. That an having them pulled down so abruptly was startling! A nice rapid fire comedy effects here. I animate in my head as each action has a reaction in the other four Harem’s where ever they may be. Maybe the Quantum Inseperability Principal (QIP) at work here. That an other factors of Harem’s powers.
Love the comedy on the monitor of the compliant about Sydney’s non stop invective. It all looks good to me.
