Character Color Specs
As part of the Patreon campaign I promised I would hire a part time colorist to help out on occasion so that I could focus on other things like getting some merch created and whatnot. Of course part of doing that is creating some coloring spec sheets for the characters, and Sydney here is the first of many. I’ll be updating this throughout the month as I have time, the goal being to have all the major characters specced out by the end of the month.
I clicked on the color spec and went off to another site. It’s ok but I wanted a bigger look at the color spec. Will the balls have color specs too?
“well no… they have to be censored because…! Oh, nevermind.
That is the point of the voting incentive. To encourage you to go to the other site and vote. That way more folks get Grrl Power brought to their attention as it stays high in the polls.
But, the good news is that once you have cast your vote you get to see the full-sized image. And can even download it by right clicking on the picture.
seems good
Hmm could panel 4 be an old “friend” of Max’s from Iraq
“With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility” . . .
Unfortunately, when a new voting bonus became available, the link to the full color spec Went Away. I understand why you went that route, but I’m not convinced that the outcome is really optimal.
Yeah I’m bad about updating those links. Here’s a direct link. https://www.grrlpowercomic.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/colorguide.jpg
so am i the only one who noticed that dabbler didn’t comment on the fact that the glamour she is wearing came from sydney?
I think you have gotten hold of the wrong end of the stick. Dabbler creates her own illusions. Sydney’s one and only illusion capability is to project a duplicate image of herself.
Unless you are implying that Dabbler used her mind-reading trick to pull a sexual fantasy out of Sydney’s mind? Like she did with the General and his green alien fetish. Because it seems unlikely, as Dabbler does not look anything like Wolverine with her glamour on.
Dabbler is appearing as any one of Sydney’s idealized comic book/fantasy/sci-fi heroine archetypes. She just happened to pull from “Magitech Noir” originally, and since that’s the form the public knows her in, she’s just tweaking it from there. Dabbler could have just have easily come out looking like a valkyrie, a sexy shadow elf or a straight up superheroine with the impossibly vacuum sealed outfit. Hmm, that may have been a missed opportunity actually, but that doesn’t mean I can’t use it in the future. :)
Ooh, I stand corrected. A subtlety I had not picked up on at all. Well spotted why1280.
Bottom middle box, Sydney’.s second bubble first sentence is missing a word.
From the position of him to Max I think we are going to see a back hand sending him, or perhaps just his head, back out the hole he just made in the next page.
Considering his current position in relation to Max, it seems likely that we’ll witness a forceful backhand sending him, or possibly just his head, back through the hole he just created in the upcoming page.
Thank you for providing such useful information. I’ve been having trouble coming up with many questions about this topic. I’ll stick with you!
