Grrl Power #1318 – Have two feet, will probably travel
Peggy’s new favorite thing to do? Not hopping when she gets out of bed in the morning. I mean, sure, she’d probably keep her prosthetic next to the bed, but I assume she has one especially for the shower, fully hydrophobic, with a non-slip foot pad, and doesn’t want to strap the everyday peg on to walk ten feet to the restroom. Her second favorite thing to do? Making fists on the carpet with her toes. (And then fighting off a high-rise full of assorted european thieves posing as terrorists, but that’s just obvious.)
I bet all of her existing footwear has different wear patterns on the inside of them now, cause the faux-foot on the end of her peg is designed to be functional first, and mostly foot shaped second. Even if it was a mirror image cast of her left foot, the way it would flex and move inside the shoe would create different erosion. I’m sure some shoes will be better than others, but she’s probably going to have to update about half her shoe collection.
Peggy had never given anyone a foot job before she lost her leg. Now? She’ll probably have that “I should do everything that involves having two feet” mentality for a while. So if you happened to already be dating her, I guess now would be your best bet, if you were into that sort of thing. Not that it’s impossible to give a foot job it with one foot, I suppose. I just kind of assume a single foot would start to cramp before the end. I dunno, maybe wearing high heels trains women’s feet to do strenuous things for extended periods of time. Not that guys can’t give footjobs… or wear heels. I don’t know what the hell I’m talking about. Just ignore this part.

My guess would be that alien-tech new leg probably has chameleon skin features built in, so she could change her tattoo every day if she wanted to, recolor the whole leg at will, or even watch streaming videos on it or whatnot.
For some reason, whenever I try to post from my home computer, it now gives me an error of ‘403 Forbidden’
I think it’s now tied to my IP address and I’m not sure why.

With that said, I actually got the 403 forbidden error when I initially tried to post that comment. I went to private mode and was able to immediately post my comment, so it might actually be a corrupt cookie or plugin in your browser like it was in mine.
There have been a few issues with posting that seem to clear up for some people after a few hours. I have banned very few IPs from posting here, and none recently, so I would chock it up to internet vagaries for now.
Working in the internet field, a lot of times, the hosting company will subscribe to an IP blacklist that automatically updates on a scheduled basis. If you know/can look up, what IP address your ISP assigned to you, you can go to this website (https://mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx), plug it in, and see if it’s on a blacklist. If it is, you can usually contact your ISP and they’ll go through the rigamarole to get the IP address removed from the list.
99% of the time, it’s nothing you’ve done. Blacklisting is highly automated (although you can manually request to have an IP blacklisted), and a lot of times, they might block a whole range of IP addresses from a specific ISP because there’s one bad actor spamming from that bank of IP addresses.
Something you can try is to unplug your modem/router from power for an hour or so. Without getting into the technicalities of it, the longer you leave your internet equipment off, the higher the likelihood your IP that’s causing the issue, will get shuffled to someone else and when you reconnect your router, you’ll get a different one that might not be blacklisted.
Once she gets out of the ship, Sydney and everyone else have a party ready for her. But everyone is painted blue so that she doesn’t feel so concious about her skin color change. Even Maxima is blue-ish, because Sydney forgot that her skin dislikes any kind of body paint.
Don’t forget the holo chokers, thoise could be easily set.
The lateral malleolus looks a bit high on the ankle. She shouldn’t leave the OR until he fixes that, or at least get a receipt and/or the extended warranty.

those serve no purpose and are a hassle to take care of, definitely no toenails if i get some aliens to print me a leg
Toenails are actually super important, that hardened surface is there to help protect the edges of your toes. You think stubbing your toe with the nail there hurts, imagine that but infinity worse without as you would now literally crush the flesh of your toe against the bone within causing severe trauma to the soft bits and maybe even cracking said bone. All of which would hurt infinitely more than what currently happens.
I nominate that her first action on her new feet should be “click one’s heels in the air like an old timey prospector who found a massive nugget”.
