May Vote Incentive
Here’s the vote incentive for May – Sydney by Fred Perry of Gold Digger fame. Normally I’d prefer to do my own art but I had a few other projects relating to the comic take up some of what little spare time I have, and Gold Digger has been hugely influential on both the art and writing for my own comic. It’s probably not an exaggeration to say that for a stretch of time, Gold Digger was the only thing that kept me coming back to comic stores. I don’t know if I ever would have done Grrl Power without it.

I must admit I prefer her in your usual drawing style
Is that a padded bra, or has she just filled out a bit as she got a bit older? A lot more girly than she has come across in the comic so far, but very cute!
Fred wasn’t quite as familiar with her. I showed him a few of the comics but he didn’t have time to sit down and read them. She definitely does look a bit older though.
Thinking about it, if she’s had soem time with Olivia and/or Harem, she might very well start looking a bit more girly like this. I’d stick with saying this is how she looks a cou[ple of years in the future from the current comics
The chest wasn’t as off-putting to me as it was to some of the others, but there was something that had me thinking that there was something wrong with the picture. After five minutes of staring at it, I finally realized what it was…
Sidney looks SANE in this one! And composed enough to sit still!!
Now, we’ve seen Sidney do sane before – for a couple of pages near the start of the story – bur ever since the flashback she’s bounced from manic state to manic state to manic state to the point that it now seems out of character for her to sit still long enough to have a picture taken.
Which is the excuse I’d use if I was asked why she looks so different – Sidney sat still for about 10 seconds, then was off getting into trouble, coming back just long enough to give Fred some ‘helpful hints’ (Make my boobs bigger. I look like Clark Kent in those round glasses, make them square ones instead. I should look older…) before getting into more trouble.

Been a huge GD geek for about 12 years. Sydney is a bit…inflated…but for that looks like a 4th Diggers sister. Oh wait. Count Madrid, that would be a 5th Diggers sister.
Ideally she would look a lot like Aljabra and act like everything Aljabra isn’t.
